At ExakTime our top priority is providing a time and attendance solution that supports you in operating and growing your business efficiently. To that end we’ve been busy working to improve the experience within our product and we’re excited to tell you about a performance upgrade to the ExakTime system. 

Upgrading the Time Reconciliation Algorithm 

The Time Reconciliation algorithm (or TRA as we like to call it) powers many features within ExakTime. This includes displaying timecard information for end users, running reports for administrators, and editing time records for managers. The upgrade will move all users to the newest version of the algorithm to process time records more efficiently and provide better support for key ExakTime features. 

Upgrading the algorithm is the foundation for new ExakTime features that will be available later this year and into 2023. We’re currently working on these enhancements so expect more information on additional features soon. 

Your TRA Upgrade Is Scheduled 

We’re rolling out TRA upgrades in groups, and you are scheduled for on or after
September 7. 

What You Need to Do 

For most customers the TRA upgrade will be automatic. You don’t need to do anything. 

However, if your team uses the AccountLinx product you will need to update this application to prepare for the upgrade. You can find guidance on how to update AccountLinx and the TRA upgrade in our support document on  Support Central.
